Household energy saving

Providing guidance to local residents on how to reduce their domestic energy use has been a key part of the work of Sustainable Stansted since its inception in September 2022. Our first ZCC grant enabled us to produce a leaflet providing low cost practical ideas on how to save energy in the home. This was delivered to all households in the Parish. We also provided information on our website and in regular articles in the local free papers. In our second grant award we recieved funding to enable us to run a number of events for residents providing face-toface advice on energy saving measures. This work was completed early in 2025.
