To provide guidance to householders on what they should consider to improve their homes Energy consumption and efficiency. To gain information on how Hadstock could move from an average EPC ‘D’ to the UK target of a ‘C’.
We have analysed 40 houses in the Village using an ‘EPC+’ energy assessment by an Energy Champion. The ‘EPC+’ process includes an EPC assessment, an Energy analysis and a discussion on the objectives and implications for the particular household. A Feedback form has been gathered from the housesholds to determine what they are considering doing next. We are using this information to plan and focus our next activities in 2025/26, and also to identify what would be required to move the Village to the target EPC average ‘D’.
