Biodiversity study

We have been working with the Director and Principal Ecologist at MKA Ecology. He trained a small team of volunteers from Sustainable Stansted to map the habits of the land lying within parish boundaries and to identify any areas or species of particular interest. This work ws completed in April 25. Since then the team have been bringing together our data, doing more detailed study of significant areas within the parish, and producing a guide for local residents on how they can enhance biodiversity in and around their homes. We are currently planning to launch both this guide and the study findings at an event in Stansted on 6 September 2025.
