Project Description

Flitch Way Action Group

The aim of our group is to create a multi user off-road path reconnecting the Flitch Way through Dunmow to form a continuous definitive bridleway between Rayne and Bishops Stortford.

This group is trying to better connect the existing Flitch Way with other local towns and transport hubs with a safe, off-road active travel route for all non-motorised use.

Specifically, we are working on a route from the Flitch Way to Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted Airport, better access across Dunmow and a new bridge over the river Chelmer near the A120 Hoblongs junction.
