The Pant Valley Riverwatch is an informal group of residents, landowners and farmers working alongside Essex and Suffolk Rivers Trust, Essex Wildlife Trust Home | Essex Wildlife Trust, Essex Field Club essexfieldclub.org.uk, Ground Control Project Wildfell and the North Essex farm Cluster North Essex Farm Cluster.

We have just begun a monthly water quality testing project along 30+ km of the River Pant from Wimbish to Bocking, making it one of the most comprehensive citizen science programmes in the region. Each site has been carefully chosen in terms of ecological interest, safety, access and landowner permission. The idea is to highlight major findings for further investigation by professionals.
