Description

This round of funding is open until 4 December 2026 and grants of between £500 and £10,000 are available.

Projects might include:

  • carbon emission reduction – energy conservation or efficiency measures for community buildings
  • community energy – energy efficiency projects or renewable energy installations for local benefit
  • nature recovery – work to improve, expand, connect or create new wildlife areas
  • community engagement in climate change – to encourage walking and cycling, waste reduction or volunteering

You are welcome to apply for more than one project.

However, we are aiming to allocate funding so that we can support as wide a range of projects as possible across the district.

There is a webinar at 7pm on 14th October (see the Sustainable Uttlesford Meetings and Events page) for more information on how to apply and to hear from previously funded projects.
