The Zero Carbon Communities Grant Fund will open to community groups and parish and town councils on 30 September 2026. The fund supports communities in Uttlesford to take action on climate change and nature recovery to help create a ‘low carbon, high nature’ district. Projects might include nature recovery work, energy-saving work for community buildings, waste reduction initiatives or community schemes that promote and assist with sustainable lifestyles.
Applications are invited for a minimum of £500 and up to £10,000 per project. A free webinar will be held on Wednesday 14 October at 7pm to support applicants to the Zero Carbon Communities Grant Fund and will include talks and updates from previously funded projects.
