Description

Our Habitat & Biodiversity Grant Scheme funds projects that improve natural habitats, creating healthy environments for native species. These projects should aim to protect biodiversity and create sustainable, carbon-neutral spaces.

This scheme is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations, local authorities and Environmental Bodies (EBs). The minimum grant request we can consider is £10,000.

Elibility and Criteria
Our Habitat and Biodiversity Criteria enables eligible organisations to apply for funding to physically improve spaces for nature’s benefit.
The project must be within 10 miles of an active Landfill Site, you can check ENTRUSTs (our regulator) website here.

The minimum grant we can consider is £10,000, however if you intend to apply for an award of over £75,000, you will need to contact us before beginning your application.

When considering your application, our Trustees will want to see that your project:

  • Protects and enhances biodiversity and natural habitats
  • Inspires the creation of a sustainable carbon neutral space
  • Promotes community action and wellbeing
  • Is inclusive and accessible to everyone and anyone to use
