Grant applications are accepted at any time and are reviewed 4 times a year. Applications are accepted by post only – full details are available at the application link.

The Trust’s Objectives promote:

  1. The health, welfare and education of the general public
  2. The study and appreciation of agriculture, silviculture, ecology and land management
  3. The study and appreciation of land and estate management that encourages conservation of the countryside.

In practice, a wide variety of applications have been supported, from camping equipment for Scout groups to coastal litter picks. Please view the Trust’s Grants awarded page and map for full details.

Elibility and Criteria

There is no funding limit, the Trust are guided by their investment income and the quality of proposals received. The Trustees meet once per quarter to review applications and allocate funding. Proposals not received in time for a meeting will be rolled over for consideration at the next one.

Charitable funding proposals should address the Objectives of the Nineveh Charitable Trust (see the website’s Home and Trust’s Aims pages).

Your funding proposal should be no longer than 2 double-sided pages, carefully worded, justifying your request in relation to the Trust’s Objectives.

  • The Trust prefers to pay grants to UK registered charities or Community Interest Companies.
  • But individual applicants may be considered if the outcome benefits are clearly defined.
