A spatial strategy required by law under the Environment Act 2021 in England. It aims to identify locations where habitat creation and improvement will most benefit nature and the wider environment. These strategies will be used to map valuable existing areas for nature, set priorities for nature’s recovery, and propose specific actions to enhance habitats and achieve wider environmental goals.
