To encourage recycling as far as possbile by either promoting existing, or setting up new easy access recycling points around the village. eg, Collect inkjet printer cartridges (station/post office). Collection of Crisp Packets to send to Tetracycle for recycling.
Invited speaker from UDC to talk about recycling in Uttlesford. Published Directory of existing recycling points, and the items they recycle (eg, batteries) compiled. Directory shared within local monthly villiage magazine and posted on notice boards.
Inkjet Cartridges recycling points setup and ‘high footfall’ locations.
Discussing further options with other local businesses and representatives.
