Supporting community energy to develop in Uttlesford to enable community-owned solar generation, among other energy-related projects.
In progress – along with Essex County Council, we are supporting an emerging community energy group from key members of the Sustainable Uttlesford team who are looking at shared ownership of a solar farm as well as how to get solar PV on Uttlesford schools and community buildings. We are currently looking to recruit more enthusiastic fans of renewable energy to join the Board or operational team, and we hope soon to be registering the group as a Community Benefit Society.
